Headlight Bulb Retainer - Dorman (86550)
Dorman - 86550
Sale Price$17.09
Description : The insufficient holding power and weak construction of the original equipment headlight bulb pigtail locking tab on certain Dodge ProMaster vans commonly causes the headlight bulb to loosen and disconnect. When the locking tab breaks, the hot halogen bulb has been known to fall out of the socket entirely, landing inside and melting the plastic headlight housing. Simply replacing a burned-out bulb can also break the fragile two-step locking tab, rendering the socket useless. The dealer repair solution requires the purchase and installation of an entire costly headlight assembly. This Dorman OE FIX headlight socket provides a longer-lasting and more affordable repair solution. Our socket features a patent-pending reinforced locking tab that solidly secures the bulb, simplifies future replacements, reduces maintenance costs and helps ensure safer driving conditions.
