- Description: When the original equipment plastic engine oil pan on certain Nissan Q50 and Q60 sedans and coupes cracks from heat or impact, the dealer repair solution is to offer the same failure-prone design, inviting similar future failures. This Dorman OE FIX oil pan is designed to precisely match the fit of the factory pan, but is made from rugged aluminum for a more permanent and damage-resistant repair. Our engineers also relocated the drain plug to allow a more complete drain by making the bottom of the plug level with the bottom of the pan. To help protect the engine from harmful metal debris in the oil that results from internal component wear, this pan also features a convenient magnetic drain plug. This all-metal plug is designed for rock-solid fit into threads precision-machined directly into the pan, eliminating the potential for the leaks that occur when the overmolded plastic-over-brass factory bung loosens and fails.
